Christmas Pantomime 'Snow White'
Year 2 Cenotaph Visit
Children began there learning about why we wear poppies. We read the story ‘Alive with Poppies’ and wrote a report about WW1 and remembrance.
We visited the war memorial today to hold a 2 minutes silence in memory of those who have fallen for us.

Looking at Landmarks - Human & Physical Features
Children have been learning more geographical facts about Brazil. We looked at the human and physical features of Rio and compared the Amazon rainforests to Rosehill park.
Art - Feather Drawing
We have been practising our art skills by ghosting lines. We have used this technique to draw a feather.
Learning about Islam
We have been learning about the religion of Islam. We had a special visitor to teach the children all about their beliefs and he brought in some artifacts for children to have a look at.
